The Commissioner Karachi Iftikhar Shalwani overviewed preparations for the second Test between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, scheduled from December 19-23.
Shalwani called a high-profile meeting at National Stadium Karachi (NSK) to discuss various matters related to this historic Test return to the metropolis.
The meeting was attended by high-rank officials from Sindh Rangers, Sindh Traffic Police. The officials from Water Board, KMC and K-Electric were also present on the occasion. Representatives from PCB also attended the discussion.
Shalwani is confident to welcome Test cricket as strongly as they did the white-ball cricket. “I hope this return will create history. We will organize this event fluently,” he said.
It must be noted here that the second and last Test of the historic series will be played from December 19-23 at NSK.
