The top ranked team in PSL table, Quetta Gladiators will take on the confident Karachi Kings tonight in Dubai after two day break in the league.
If Karachi Kings win the contest, they will jump up in the table as they have four points to their name, they are two points behind from second third and fourth position teams.
On the other hand, Quetta Gladiators will maintain their dominance on the points table with seven points, however, Sarfraz Ahmed led side would not like to break their winning streak. Gladiators will be ecstatic to see their top foreign player, Kevin Pietersen back in the runs. His 42-ball 88 runs helped his team to reach the mammoth target of 201 runs against Lahore Qalandars.
Quetta Gladiators have looked the most solid side so far in the league, all of their players have contributed in team’s success, which has set the side ahead of all of their competitors.
Karachi Kings were almost written off from the tournament, but their back to back win against Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi have now made them a force to reckon. With Shoaib Malik, Kumar Sangakkara and Babar Azam’s performance with the bat and bowling performances from youngsters Usama Mir and Usman Khan Sinwari have made them look like a totally different bunch of players.
However, Sangakkara and Co. will still be hoping for their big man from Caribbean, Chris Gayle, to fire and if he does, Kings will be the favorite to conquer Gladiators.
The match will commence at 9 PM (PST).
