Craig Brathwaite to lead West Indies against Pakistan in Tests


JAMAICA: Cricket West Indies (CWI) has announced their Test squad for two matches against Pakistan, starting here from August 12. 

Craig Brathwaite has been named captain of 17-members provision squad that includes Jermaine Blackwood (Vice-Captain), Nkrumah Bonner, Shamarh Brooks, Rahkeem Cornwall, Roston Chase, Joshua Da Silva, Jahmar Hamilton, Chemar Holder, Jason Holder, Shai Hope, Alzarri Joseph, Kyle Mayers, Kieran Powell, Kemar Roach, Jayden Seales, Jomel Warrican.

On the other hand, the Pakistani squad has also reached here to play the first Test against West Indies from August 12. The team will start training after their COVID-19 results will turn out negative.

It must be noted here that the four matches T20I series between the two teams was highly disturbed by the rain. Three out of four matches were washed out, with one won by Pakistan.
