‘Credit goes to team effort for successful SA tour’ Babar Azam


CENTURION: National skipper Babar Azam gave full credit to his players for playing like a unit and outclassing South Africa at their home. 

Speaking in a video after defeating South Africa 3-1 in the T20I series, Babar said every player played his role that led to a convincing victory.

“I must give credit to all the players the way they put in their efforts. It was a big win for us, especially defeating South Africa in their home,” he said.

“Such victories give much confidence especially before the upcoming mega event, the ICC T20 World Cup,” he added.

Babar praised Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Rizwan, and bowlers for bringing consistent performance. “Fakhar performed really well, Rizwan also proved himself and our bowlers maintained consistency in these conditions was the highlight of this tour,” he highlighted.

“It was a good series overall but still we lack in some areas. We will identify those and work on them to come up stronger,” he concluded.
