The Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan delivered a historical speech at the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on Friday, which has gathered praise from current and former cricketers across the country.

Legendary fast-bowler Wasim Akram called PM Imran “true voice of Pakistan” in his Tweet.

“I feel like we are being represented with the true voice of Pakistan and now the world can finally see who we are and what we stand for #ThankYouSkipper #ImranKhan #NayaPakistan #PakistanStandsUp” he wrote in his Tweet.

Khan’s former cricket fellow Ramiz Raja lauded his historic speech in simple words.

“Nailed it absolutely Mr Khan! Wow”

The veteran all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez called PM Imran Strong , Selfless & Fearless in his Tweet.

“Strong , Selfless & Fearless character @ImranKhanPTI, What a Leader U r, I m a proud Pakistani & Proud Muslim to hav U as our #Leader #UNGA2019″

Shoaib Malik also lavished praise on Imran Khan’s address to the UNGA.

“I look up to Khan sb’s leadership because of his achievements and the strong impact he had on our cricket even long after he had retired. The UN speech today is a moment I will always remember iA, like 92. We must all be united under our PM’s 4 points #PakistanZindabad” he Tweeted.
