CR7 is perhaps the best player in the world right now and last night the world saw yet another glimpse of that as the Real Madrid’s super star scored his 500th career goal.
Coach Rafa Benitez said after the match “If we’re talking about Real Madrid’s history and goal scorers, Ronaldo has achieved this feat in less time, which makes it all the more remarkable”.
The Portuguese player slotted in a superb goal in the left corner thus helping him reach the elusive mark. But that was not the end of the night for him as he scored another from close range after receiving a pass from Vasquez. This goal leveled him with another Real Madrid legend Raul on the amount of goals scored for the biggest club in the world.
Cristiano Ronaldo has now scored a staggering 332 goals for Real Madrid after being transferred from Manchester United in the year 2009 where he amassed 118 goals. He has also scored 55 goals for his national team.
After the match CR7 appeared infront of media for the first time since the humiliating loss against Athletico Madrid
