David Warner captured the limelight on day two against Pakistan at Brisbane as the left-handed batsman remained not out for magnificent 151 and took a healthy 79-runs lead for Australia.
Australian openers Warner and Joe Burns gave tough time to Pakistan’s bowlers facing trouble to shape the ball strongly in opening sessions. They both provided a challenging 222 runs opening partnership.
Unlucky Burns walked off just three runs short to his hundred. The right-handed batsman played 166 balls and smashed 10 boundaries during his stay at the crease.
Marnus Labuschagne supported the men in yellow strongly after they lost the first wicket. He remained not out with Warner for 55 runs.
Yasir Shah was the only wicket-taker for Pakistan.
