Pak-SL first Test Day 4 called off due to wet outfield

Day 4 play of the opening Test at the Pindi Stadium between Pakistan and Sri Lanka has been called off by the umpires due to heavy overnight rain.

Same as Day 2 and 3, bad weather interrupted on the second last day and ruined the historic test match.

Only 91.2 overs have been bowled in the first three days of the contest which is most likely to be drawn.

Sri Lanka’s 1st innings score is 282-6 with Dhananjaya de Silva as top-scorer with 87 and half-century by captain Dimuth Karunaratne.

The fans are now waiting to witness an intense battle in the second Test match between the two nations, scheduled from December 19-23 at National Stadium, Karachi.
