DG Rangers Sindh give jobs to hockey players


DG Rangers Sindh Major General Mohammad Saeed on Saturday appointed eight hockey players hailing from Karachi on jobs in Rangers.

This is for the first time that hockey players will serve for Sindh Rangers which will help them earn good and flourish their career.

A three-member selection committee including former Olympians Samiullah, Hanif Khan and Haider Hussain, was set-up to finalize eight best hockey players from Sindh.

According to the DG Rangers, this step has been taken to encourage more players to come forward and show their talent.

The Karachi Hockey Association (KHA) applauded Sindh Rangers for supporting hockey players which will give them immense confidence.

They criticized the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) for not working for the betterment of the national game in the country.
