DG Rangers Sindh is happy for Test cricket’s return to Karachi

DG Rangers Sindh Major General Umar Bukhari is looking forward to a successful Test cricket’s return to Karachi after 10 years.

“It is good to see such international cricket activities coming back to the metropolis. This series is important to push a soft image of our country in front of the world,” Bukhari said while talking to the media on his tour to National Stadium Karachi (NSK) to inspect security arrangements.

“I am really satisfied with the way security has been provided here. I am looking forward to an exciting-cum-entertaining Test series and I hope this will pave the way for more teams to come and play in front of the cricket-loving nation,” he concluded.

It must be noted here that the second Test between Sri Lanka and Pakistan will take place from December 19 to 23 at NSK. The opener of the series held draw due to heavy rain in Rawalpindi.
