DHAKA: Azhar Ali and Younis Khan scored centuries as Pakistan is batting at 252/2 on the first day of the Dhaka Test match against Bangladesh on Wednesday.
Younis Khan scored his century from 142 balls which included nine fours and a six while Azhar Ali raised his bat for the ton after 211 balls with the help of nine boundaries.
Younis has scored 29 centuries while Azhar scored his eight ton of his test career.
Pakistan is currently batting at 252/2 with Younis Khan and Azhar Ali batting at 112 and 105 respectively.
Bangladesh won the toss and opted to field first.
Pakistan’s first wicket fell at the score of nine runs as Mohammad Hafeez was caught behind of the bowling of Mohammad Shahid after scoring eight runs.
Taijul Islam got the second wicket of the session as Sami Aslam was was caught with 58 runs on the board. The opener made 19 runs from 58 balls.
