Dhoni blames immense pressure for semi final loss

SYDNEY: Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has said that his side was under too much pressure while chasing the target in the World Cup semi final against Australia, ARYSports.tv reports.

India was all out on 233 while chasing the target of 329 set by Australia thus ending India’s dream of retaining the World Cup.

He said that Australia played well and chasing 300 is not an easy task.

The Indian captain also said that his side started the run chase well but the Australian bowlers also did a fine job.

“The pressure makes you do things you don’t want to”, he said.

Dhoni said that he has not made a decision regarding playing 2019 World Cup in England but will play the World Twenty20 in 2016 which will be held in India.
