Disappointing start for Pakistan in Rio Olympics

RIO DE JANEIRO: Two of the seven Pakistani athletes representing Pakistan in the Olympics have been eliminated from their respective events.

As per details, Minhal Sohail, Pakistan’s female shooter in Women’s 10 meter air rifle got 28th rank after securing 413.2 points.

She was the first Pakistani woman competing in the event of shooting in the mega sporting event.

On the other hand, Haris Bandey, Pakistani swimmer could not put up an impressive show as he got the third position in a freestyle competition among three swimmers. Haris’ journey also came to an end with his disappointing performance.

Pakistan has high hopes for a medal from the judoka, Shah Hussain, son of Pakistan’s legendary and the only medal  winning boxer in Olympics, Hussain Shah.
