Don’t ask for Pakistan-India match tickets, they are sold out

Pakistan India Asia Cup tickets

The organizers of the ongoing Asia Cup have announced a complete sell out of the tickets of the high profile match between Pakistan and India in Dubai on Wednesday, warning fans not to come if they don’t have tickets.

The high voltage match is the first between the bitter rivals since Pakistan inflicted a 180-run defeat on India — the heaviest in the arch-rivals contests — at The Oval, London in June last year.

India will also be playing their first match in UAE since the two-match series in Abu Dhabi in 2006. The arch-rivals have a history of playing in Sharjah between 1984-2000 which ended after India alleged match-fixing at the venue and did not return.

Organizers said all tickets have been sold.

“The tickets are sold out so fans are requested to watch the match on television because they will not be allowed an entry into the arena without a ticket,” said organizers at Dubai stadium.

The tickets are priced at 150 dirhams, 300, 550, 750, 5000 and 6000.

“Gates will be open at 12 noon so that the fans should settle well before the start of the match,” said organizers.

So for those who cannot watch the match on Wednesday book your tickets well in advance for September 23 Super Four clash between Pakistan and India, also in Dubai.
