Pakistan board and Indian board officials met in New Dehli today in order to decide issues regarding the revival of international cricket between the two arch rivals. The meeting which was earlier disrupted by the Indian political cum extremist group Shiv Sena on Monday in Mumbai was rescheduled to take place in New Dehli.
According to India media the series between the two teams is highly unlikely in December January. IPL cheif and Indian Board official Rajeev Shukla has said that nothing substantial was discussed regarding the series. Shaharyar Khan who is the PCB chairman is still hopeful that Pakistan India series will happen in the near future but he believes that Manohar, Indian Board Chairman, will make the final decision.
Najam Sethi also was vocal in his views regarding the issue as he tweeted
Message for cricket fans in India and Pakistan: Don’t mix politics with cricket. Play the game and may the better side win.
