Former West Indies captain Dwayne Bravo has been recalled by the Cricket West indies as they announced a 13-man squad for the upcoming T20I series against Ireland.
Bravo is making an international comeback after 3 years and six months. He last played for West Indies in September 2016 against Pakistan.
Roger Harper, Cricket West Indies’ chief selector said Bravo has been recalled with a specific intention to improve the bowling in the death overs.
“He has been recalled with the specific intention of making our ‘death’ bowling more stronger because we have been lacking in this area,” He said.
All-rounder has played 66 T20Is, scoring 1142 runs and taking 52 wickets for the West Indies.
