Ehsan Mani wishes franchises ‘best of luck’ for PSL 4


The chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Ehsan Mani wished all the six franchises ‘best of luck’ for the fourth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) which kicked off at Dubai International Stadium.

Mani while talking during the glittering opening ceremony said that the PSL is a platform where all the teams get a chance to showcase their strength.

“All teams are looking strong and we are eying yet another enthralling season of the PSL,” he said.

Mani said that it is a pleasure for them to organise another successive edition of the only cricketing league of Pakistan.

“We welcome everyone to the fourth edition of the league and hoping for your support ahead,” Mani thanked the fans for showing the positive response for last three years.

The PCB’s boss said that the league is turning into the world’s biggest event as more international players are showing interest in it.

“This year more international players will show their appearance and hopefully the league will touch new heights this time around,” said Mani who also thanked the international players for showing interest in touring Pakistan to play last eight matches of the league.

On the other hand, his Highness Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan congratulated the PCB for staging PSL which provided Pakistan’s cricket a much-needed breakthrough.

“The PSL has changed the core of Pakistan’s cricket and I hope it continues to spread happiness on the faces of cricket fans,” he said.

It is pertinent to mention here that the fourth edition of the league will run from February 14 to March 17 in the UAE and Pakistan. The opening match of the event will be played between Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars.
