The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), the host of the World Cup 2019, have announced their 15 players with Eoin Morgan leading the English side for the second consecutive time in the mega cricketing event.
The other players include off-spinner Moeen Ali, right-handed batsman Jonny Bairstow, Jos Buttler (wicketkeeper), left-arm pacer Tom Curran, right-handed batsman Joe Denly, opening batsman Alex Hales, right-arm pacer Liam Plunkett, leg-spinner Adil Rashid, right-handed batsman middle-order batsman Joe Root, opening batsman Jason Roy, hard-hitting batsman Ben Stokes, bowling all-rounder David Willey, right-arm frontline pacer Chris Woakes, right-arm fast bowler Mark Wood.
The same side will play Ireland and Pakistan prior to the World Cup which kicks off May 30 with the hosts taking on South Africa at The Oval.
England and Pakistan will meet in five One-Day Internationals following their preparations for the mega event. Both sides will play a T20I as well.
