Manchester: England’s head coach Chris Silverwood hints at a possible tour of Pakistan in near future during a presser.

Speaking to reporters, Silverwood said he has no issues in touring Pakistan, in fact, he would love to visit a cricket-loving nation.

“I think we are getting there [in terms of planning to visit Pakistan for a tour] to be honest. Personally, I’d have no problem with that. I’ve never been to Pakistan so it would be nice to go and have a look. And I know our batsmen would look forward to batting on their wickets,” he said.

“For me, it’s great that it’s back as a topic of conversation again. We are looking to get back there,” he added.

It must be noted here that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)’s chief executive officer Wasim Khan already disclosed that they are planning to convince England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) for a short T20I series before their scheduled Pakistan tour in 2022.
