English Premier League to resume from June 17 behind closed-doors


Manchester: English Premier League (EPL) will be resumed from June 17 behind-closed-doors, ARY News reported. 

Aston Villa will take on Sheffield United whereas Manchester City will lock horns with Arsenal on an opening day after the resumption. The league will be in full swing till June 21.

Meanwhile, players from different clubs have started individual training after the government allowed individual training.

As many as 92 matches were left halfway when the league got postponed due to prevailing COVID-19 across the world.
