London: England have announced the 13-member squad for the first Test of the three-match series against West Indies, ARY Sports reported.
Jonny Bairstow and Moeen Ali have missed out and are not in the reservers players too. Jofra Archer and Mark Wood have been named and will be eyeing the third spot beside James Anderson and Chris Broad.
Chris Woakes is likely to play as an all-rounder after Sam Curran who felt unwell in the intra-squad match due to diarrhea.
The First Test of the #raisethebat series will be played at Ageas Bowl, Southampton starting on Wednesday 8 July 2020. Nine players will remain at the Ageas Bowl as Test reserves.
