The left-handed opening batsman Fakhar Zaman became the first Pakistani to score double-century in an ODI inning in the fourth ODI of the series against Zimbabwe.
Fakhar Zaman became the sixth double-centurion in ODI history, while the first Pakistani to achieve the feat, also becoming the highest run scorer in an ODI inning for Pakistan beating Saeed Anwar’s 194 runs.
After winning the toss, Sarfraz Ahmed won the toss and elected to bat first.
Fakhar Zaman and the young opening batsman Imam Ul Haq created history as they scored the highest ever opening partnership of 304 runs, before Imam Ul Haq got out after making 113 runs in 122 deliveries.
Both Zaman and Imam scored third centuries of their ODI career.
