Fakhar Zaman ruled out of PCB’s pre-season camp


Left-handed batsman Fakhar Zaman has been ruled out of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)’s pre-season camp due to knee injury.

Zaman has suffered from a knee injury and went through MRI scan on Wednesday. The reports of the scan were sent to PCB’s media advisory panel which has suggested the batsman a rest of one week.

The committee took the decision after completely reviewing the reports of Fakhar while they will reexamine Zaman after 10 days.

Earlier, young fast-bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi also got ruled out of the camp after he suffered from dengue virus.

It is pertinent to mention here that national team players are currently attending a pre-season training camp under the supervision of Misbah-ul-Haq at National Cricket Academy (NCA), Lahore.
