One of the fans stated that the only 10000 runs maker in Test cricket for Pakistan must be an automatic choice in the final XI. This points out how much underrated Younis was in his playing days.
Younis Khan should have been automatic choice for the XI by the panel. It only confirms that as a cricketer he was one of the most underrated Cricketers to have played in the last 20-30 years. His contribution to cricket in general and Pakistan in particular has been immense!!
