Fans laud Shaheen Afridi for equaling Wasim Akram’s record


KARACHI: National team pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi gathered praise everywhere after completing his 50 wickets in Test cricket. 

Afridi picked up four wickets against Zimbabwe in the first inning of Pakistan’s opening Test in Harare, completing 50 wickets in just his 16th Test which equaled the record of former pacer Wasim Akram.

Fans took to Twitter to appreciate the youngster and wish him the best of luck for the future.

It must be noted here that Pakistan is currently leading the first Test from the front having scored 103-0 against Zimbabwe’s 176. Abid remained not out for 56 with the help of 10 boundaries whereas Imran walked off at the day’s end for 43 not-out.
