Lahore: Former Pakistan captain and wicket-keeper batsman Rashid Latif has been named as the best wicket-keeper by the fans on social media.
According to details, Rashid Latif surpassed all the keepers in popularity. The list of dream wicket-keepers included Imtiaz Ahmed, Wasim Bari, Saleem Yousuf, Moin Khan, Rashid, Kamran Akmal, Sarfraz Ahmed, and Adnan Akmal.
Moin and Sarfaraz were second and third on the list respectively. Former fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar chose Rashid as his favorite wicket-keeper, Sarfaraz and Kamran, who were also included in the list, chose two great wicket-keepers of the 1990s, Rashid Latif and Moin Khan.

It must be noted that fans Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has initiated the “Dream Pairs” campaign in which fans have been asked to select the best pair.
Earlier, the opening duo of Saeed Anwar and Aamir Sohail was named as the most popular opening pair.
The middle-order pair of Pakistan’s highest Test run-getter Younus Khan and former captain Mohammad Yousaf emerged as the most popular middle-order pair.
The legendary fast bowling duo of Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis who shared 787 Test wickets between them was rated as the most popular fast bowling pair in Pakistan Test history.
Among the spinners, the late legendary leg-spinner Abdul Qadir and off-spinner Saqlain Mushtaq were rated as the most popular dream pair followed by the pair of Saqlain and leg-spinner Mushtaq Ahmed.
