Fawad Alam and Sarfraz Ahmed scored 278 runs together to help Sindh finish Day three at 486-10 against Southern Punjab (SP) at National Stadium Karachi (NSK).
Fawad brought up his 33rd century and 12,000 First-Class (FC) runs with a special knock of 211 runs which included 25 boundaries. Sarfraz Ahmed, on the other hand, scored prominent 131 runs, his first century in red-ball cricket since 2014.
For SP, Bilawal Bhatti bagged four wickets while Zia-ul-Haq took three wickets. The visiting side will resume Day four with a lead of 31 runs over Sindh.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) had an upper hand over Central Punjab (CP) after they reduced the opponent to 13-4 while defending 325 runs.
After bowling out CP for 228, KP gained a strong lead of 127 runs. KP, in their second turn, added 197 runs to their lead with Sahibzada Farhan scoring highest 96 runs.
In reply, CP lost their top-order within no time as Khalid Usman shined with the bowl and he bagged four for 67.
