Federal Areas beat Sindh by seven wickets to win the third match in a row in the Disabled T-20 Pentangular Cup on Wednesday.
Mohammad Asif bowled brilliantly by taking four wickets conceding just two runs to help his team restrict the opponents on a paltry total.
Sindh scored 93 runs in respective 20 overs. Majid Hussain made 23 runs while Altaf Ahmed made just 13 runs.
In reply, Saifullah Khan stood at the crease and took Federal Areas over the victory line convincingly by scoring 32 runs. Hamza Hameed added 19 runs to team’s total.
In the second match of the day, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa defeated Punjab by five wickets. Punjab posted 164-7 in 20 overs while batting first.
Mohammad Shahbaz played brilliantly by smashing 90 runs off 43 balls with the help of four boundaries and eight sixes. Abdullah Ejaz made 29 runs.
Haroon Rashid bagged three wickets conceding 32 runs for KP.
Sajjad Khan conquered the show for KP by knocking 55 runs off just 25 balls. Nihar Alam remained not out on 42 runs. Abdullah Ejaz of Punjab took three wickets.
