Finch, Khawaja have no reservations to play in Pakistan

Aaron Finch, Australia’s captain in shorter format, has no reservations to play in Pakistan but said that the decision to tour Pakistan will be of Cricket Australia (CA).

Australian captain while talking to the media said that the return of international cricket in Pakistan would be overwhelming for the cricket fans in Pakistan.

“The people in Pakistan are desperately waiting to see international action in their grounds,” said Finch.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had once again invited Australian team for playing two One Day matches in Pakistan during their five matches ODI series in the UAE in March this year.

Finch said that the enthusiastic cricket fans in Pakistan come to the stadium in large numbers and playing in front of such enthralling crowd always give good experiences.

“A cricketer really enjoys playing in front of huge crowds,” he said.

On the other hand, Australia’s left-handed batsman Usman Khuwaja said that it will be an honor for him to play in the country where he was born.

“Playing in Pakistan would be a big decision for me but it depends on Cricket Australia whatever they decide,” he said.

It merits mentioning here that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is yet to announce the complete schedule of their home series against Australia in UAE.
