Lahore: The reason of current downfall of Pakistan Hockey have come to light after fitness level of the majority of the players turned out to be as substandard, ARY Sports reported.

At the PHF’s two-day fitness camp, only 12 athletes met the required fitness standards while 19 failed.

The players’ central contracts are in jeopardy after fitness issues surfaced. The federation has made fitness conditional for the central contract.
