Lahore: Pakistan head coach Mickey Arthur seems satisfied with team’s performance and hoping for a strong team for the next world cup.
“I’m satisfied with the team’s performance and our major emphasis is on forming a strong team for the next World Cup.”
While speaking to the media at Lahore, Arthur said PSL’s success was a wonderful experience, this tournament helped them identify various potential players and the young ones who impressed them have been included in the training camp.
Mickey Arthur said he’s satisfied with the performance of players and his prime preference is on their physical fitness but at the same time it is essential for players to perform well at domestic level and come in the limelight.
He added that there is no dearth of talent in Pakistan and he has discussed the team selection issue in detail with chief selector Inzamam Ul Haq. Our main focus is on the next World Cup for which we are trying to develop a strong team which will also include some young players.
