Former PCB head curator Bashir Ahmed passes away due to heart attack


Lahore: Former Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) head curator Haji Bashir Ahmed has passed away due to a heart attack.

Haji Bashir prepared the pitches of most of the Test centers across the country. He served PCB for over 50 years.

PCB expressed sadness and offered condolences to his family and friends. The Cricket fraternity also shared grief for the departed soul.

Majid Khan, Hanif Mohammad, Imran Khan, Javed Miandad, Inzamam-ul-Haq, Vivian Richards and other world stars played cricket on wickets prepared by Haji Bashir. After retiring from PCB, Haji Bashir was serving in Lahore Qalandars High-Performance Center.
