Galle Test: Shafiq ton gives Pakistan lead


GALLE: Asad Shafiq scored a century while Zulfiqar Babar scored a half-century on the fourth day of the Galle Test match against Sri Lanka.

Asad Shafiq scored the century off 207 balls. He scored four boundaries.

He is currently batting at 115 runs along with Zulfiqar Babar who is at the crease on 51.

Babar scored a half century from 48 balls which included six boundaries and two sixes.

Meanwhile, Pakistan lost two wickets after lunch. The green shirts have made 390/8 and lead by 90 runs.

Wahab Riaz was bowled by Dilruwan Parera after scoring 14 runs while Yasir Shah fell after making 23 runs as he was caught behind by Dinesh Chandimal from the bowling of Nuwan Pradeep.
