Ottis Gibson to serve as Bangladesh’s bowling coach in Pakistan


Dhaka: Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has named West Indian Ottis Gibson as the team’s new bowling coach on a two-year contract and his first assignment will be a three-match Twenty20 series in Pakistan beginning on Friday.

Gibson has replaced South African Charl Langeveldt who left last month to start a similar role in South Africa.

He was the head coach of South Africa till August 2019 and previously served as the bowling coach of England.

It must be noted that the Bangladesh team will arrive in Lahore today for the three-match T20I series against Pakistan under the leadership of Mahmudullah.
