The young wicketkeeper-batsman, Mohammad Rizwan said he always tries to give his best whenever he gets in the ground, irrespective of the team he is playing for.
“My first priority always is to give my 100 percent in the ground, whether I am playing for my club team, franchise or district team,” Mohammad Rizwan told ARY Sports.
Rizwan feels having a legend like Shahid Afridi in the dressing room boosts the morale of the young players of the team.
“Shahid Afirdi is a legend, he has an extremely aggressive mindset, his presence is quite motivating for the team and it also impacts the opponent team,” he told.
The 25-year old praised the national and Karachi Kings’ head coach, Mickey Arthur and called him an aggressive individual who gets disappointed with the wrong attitude only.
“Mickey is aggressive, he is a hard worker, I don’t know how he has worked with Karachi Kings in the first two seasons, but the way he has coached Pakistan, it looks like he asks players to work hard, he does not get angry over mistakes, but he reacts to the wrong attitude,” he went on to say.
The agile wicketkeeper urged everyone in Karachi to come and support Pakistan and the final of the PSL that is to be staged in their city.
“It is a pleasant news for Karachiites, I hope that everyone in the city will appear to witness the live action at the stadium and support Pakistan and the final,” he added.
