The owner of Quetta Gladiators, Nadeem Omer is ecstatic with the positive image of Pakistan being portrayed courtesy of all the foreign players visiting Karachi to play the remaining of the PSL 4.
“The biggest delight for me is the positive image that Pakistan is getting with all the big names coming,” he said while talking to ARY News on Thursday.
He mentioned that it is unfortunate that Lahore Qalandars’ international star, AB de Villiers is not travelling to Pakistan due to his back injury, otherwise all the other players have agreed to play in the country.
“The most discussed player was Shane Watson, he is a big player and he is also coming,” he went on to say.
They have all their foreign players accompanying them, including their all-rounder DJ Bravo and the team mentor, Sir Vivian Richards.
Nadeem Omer is confident of crossing the line this time and lifting the trophy as they have all the firepower available on this occasion.
“We used to lose our way at the last hurdle, but this time we will not have any excuses because all our players are there and the way our team is gelled,” he said. “I think bring on the world and we can handle the best team in the world, because I believe this year with our foreign players, we have one of the best teams,” he added.
Quetta Gladiators have ruled the points table so far with seven wins in nine matches, having 14 points under their belt.
