Lahore: Gujrat Warriors won the first Pakistan Super Kabbadi League title beating Faisalabad Sherdils with 38 to 26 points in Lahore on Thursday.
Gujrat Warrior’s Tehseenullah was declared player of the match, while Faisal Sherdil’s Nasir Ali was awarded player of the tournament award.
The winning team Gujrat Warriors pocketed Rs one million while the other finalists Faisalabad Sherdils got Half a million rupees as the prize money.
The tournament was played between 10 franchise-based teams which represented different cities of the country.
The league had kicked off in Lahore on May 2 where a large number of people including national cricket team’s former wicketkeeper Kamran Akmal witnessed the final match.
