Karachi: New Zealand’s opener Martin Guptill, who was picked by Karachi Kings last week in the replacement draft, is super excited to join the defending champions for the remaining matches of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season six.
In a video message, the 34-year-old is confident of winning the trophy for the second consecutive year.

“Just a quick message to say how excited I am to be joining the champions Karachi team. I can’t wait to get over there and play some really good cricket and hope to bring home another trophy. Ye hai Karachi! (This is Karachi),” he added.
Remember in replacement draft, Karachi Kings picked Guptill in the platinum category while they bagged Najeebullah Zadran, and Thisara Perera in Diamond and Liton Das in Silver.
It must be noted that PSL 6 s all set to resume from June 1 and the final is scheduled on June 20. The whole event will take place in Karachi where a local hotel will be booked for players, supporting staff, and officials to live in a bio-secure bubble, put in place by a UK-based company.
