Hafeez bashes critics on injury allegations

Pakistan’s professor Mohammad Hafeez has brushed aside the allegations of him trying to avoid the tour of England by faking an injury.

Mohammad Hafeez told in an interview that he is currently working with the PCB’s doctor’s panel in order to regain full fitness. Hafeez added that that the naysayers can confirm the news with the PCB as he is not trying to avoid the difficult tour of England by showcasing that he is suffering from an injury. The right handed batsman was hopeful that he will be able to recover in time for the tour of England.

Hafeez realized the importance of the upcoming English challenge and he was confident that the team can strike some good form and get back on the winning track. He also appreciated the move to make Micky Arthur head coach of Pakistan side and hoped that under him the team will improve in all forms of cricket and especially the ODI and T20 format because that has been a constant worry due to the decline in form.

Pakistan’s tour of England begins on the 14th of July with the first test match scheduled to be played at Lord’s.
