KARACHI: Pakistani all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez will undergo a bowling action test in India on 9th April, ARYSport.tv reports on Wednesday.
International Cricket Council (ICC) had banned Mohammad Hafeez from bowling after his bowling action was reported in the series against New Zealand in November.
ICC launched a crackdown on bowlers with suspected bowling actions last year in which nine players were suspended.
Ace spinner Saeed Ajmal was also banned from bowling over his action.
The all rounder was selected in the World Cup 2015 squad but missed the mega event due to an injury.
He went through remedial work with former Pakistan spinner Saqlain Mushtaq and has reportedly cleared an unofficial test earlier this year.
The spinner has taken 43 wickets in his test career, 122 one-day wickets and 46 Twenty20 (T20) wickets.
On the other hand, Pakistani women cricketer Javeria Wadood will also undergo a bowling action test as well.
She has appeared in 59 one-dayers and 56 Twenty20s for Pakistan. She was suspended back in 2010.
