Haider Ali fined for showing dissent at umpire’s decision


Multan: Young Haider Ali has been fined 30 percent of his applicable match fee after he was found guilty for showing dissent at an umpire’s decision during the seventh match of the National T20 Cup. 

According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Haider has accepted the sanction proposed by match referee Iftikhar Ahmed under Article 2.8 of the PCB Code of Conduct for Player and Player Support.

As per the details, the incident occurred in the ninth over of Northern’s inning when Haider showed his bat to the umpire, which was deemed as a disagreement over the decision, after being adjudged LBW on an Usman Qadir’s delivery.
