Karachi: All-rounder Hammad Azam has joined Peshawar Zalmi with immediate effect as they take on Multan Sultans in their last round match at National Stadium on Friday.
The Pakistan Super League (PSL)’s technical committee approved the request of Zalmi of including the all-rounder in their squad for remaining matches.
It must be noted here that foreign players withdrew from PSL 5 on Friday due to Coronovirus fear. Zalmi’s all foreign players including Tom Banton, Lewis Gregory, Liam Dawson, Liam Livingstone, and Carlos Brathwaite decided to not stay in Pakistan.
The one-time PSL champion Zalmi needs to win their last round-robin match to make their position strong to qualify for the semi-final, scheduled on March 17.
