Haris, Nawaz sent home as Pakistan announce Test squad against West Indies


JAMAICA: Pakistan’s skipper Babar Azam disclosed that Haris Rauf and Mohammad Nawaz have been sent home for some rest while announcing a 19-men Test squad for two matches against West Indies. 

Speaking to reporters in the online presser, Babar said they are concerned about players’ workload, hence released Haris and Nawaz who have had played all three formats.

“We have decided to manage players’ workload. Haris and Nawaz have been released from the squad to give them some time to refresh. They will spend some time with their families and prepare themselves for Afghanistan’s tour (to take place in Sri Lanka),” he shared.
