The Big Bash League (BBL) proves out to be a life-changing experience for young Haris Rauf who has made his place in Pakistan’s T20I squad against Bangladesh after already gaining stardom at the international level.
Haris is currently the second-highest wicket-taker in ongoing BBL with 16 wickets in seven matches. While representing Melbourne Stars, he has also taken five-wicket haul and became the second Pakistani pacer to do so.
According to the national team’s chief selector-cum-head coach Misbah-ul-Haq, Haris has been included in the team following his current form in the BBL. “We have seen Haris bowling with immense pace and aggression. He is a strong bowler and has shown his worth in the ongoing season of BBL and last year’s National T20 Cup too,” he said.
On the other hand, Haris expressed his excitement via a video from Australia. “It is dream come true for me as I have been named in Pakistan’s squad,” he said.
