Hasan Ali will not be available for the upcoming Test series against Sri Lanka as the right-arm pacer suffered a rib fracture.
According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Hasan’s recent CT scan revealed cortical rib fractures, involving ninth rib on the right side and eighth and ninth ribs on the left side.
The cricketer will take up to six weeks to recover and will start rehabilitation process at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) from Monday.
It must be noted here that Hasan was declared fit last week when he participated in the ninth round of Quaid-e-Azam Trophy. However, he complained of pain in the back during the match.
Earlier, he was ruled out of shorter format home series against Sri Lanka in September due to the same back pain.
