Hasan Ali responds on marrying an Indian girl


Pakistan star pacer Hasan Ali responded to the news regarding him marrying an Indian girl ‘Samya Arzoo’ on August 20 in Dubai.

Hasan took to Twitter to clarify the news regarding his marriage with an Aeronautical Engineer from Dubai.

“Just wanna clarify my wedding is not confirmed yet, our families have yet to meet and decide upon it. Will make a public announcement very soon InshaAllah,” the fast bowler tweeted.

Earlier, ARY News reported that Hasan is all set to tie the knot with an Indian girl belongs to the Mewat, district of Haryana. She is the daughter of former Block Development and Panchayat Officer (BPDO), Liaquat Ali.

According to the sources, the Nikah Ceremony of the fast-bowler is set to take place at Atlantis Palm Hotel, Dubai with only close family members and friends.

Shamia is a B-Tech degree holder in Aeronautical Engineering from Manav Rachna University. She worked for Jet Airways and currently is a flight engineer in Emirates Airlines.

Hasan stole the limelight after he made his presence felt in the first edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) in 2016 while representing Peshawar Zalmi. He was the highest wicket-taker in the fourth edition of the league with edition with 25 wickets.

He made his ODI debut for Pakistan in 2016 against Ireland in Dublin. He was the man-of-the-tournament in Champions Trophy 2017 with taking highest 13 wickets in five matches at an average of 14.69.

He has so far played nine Tests, 53 ODIs and 30 T20Is for Pakistan from 2016.

It is pertinent to mention here that earlier three Pakistani cricketers including Zaheer Abbas, Shoaib Malik, and Mohsin Khan had married to Indian girls.
