Pak vs Ind
High Drama at the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium

The India–Pakistan cricket rivalry is one of the most extreme and intensified sports rivalries in the world be that men or women.

India-Pakistan matches are always high voltage games, especially in the Worldcups. And I believe that if there is no pressure on a sportsman then there is no point. It is the pressure that often brings the best out of players.

Recalling my memories of 2012 and 2016 Worldcups in Sri Lanka and India, we have beaten India twice in both Worldcups. But the special was on 19th March 2016 ‘The Indo-Pak” D/N game where we beat them in Feroz Shah Stadium 🏟 in Delhi, India in front of around 7,000 Indian spectators. And that was the first time I ‘ve seen such high attendance in my career.

The whole Indian crowd was cheering and chanting composed of just these two words “Indiyaah, Indiaa”, Indian fans push themselves to even more frenzied heights of perversity by repeating them over and over again and make real noise whenever India batters take a single or hit a four.

India batted first and end up scoring only 96 runs in allotted 20 overs. They started the inning very slow and only able to score 7 runs in first 6 overs of the power play with 2 wickets down. This was India record low score in the powerplay. I noticed at one time Indian Players appeared very tense and nervous, I believe it is all because of their home crowd who were expecting some good batting against us, they were continuously shouting negative slogan against the home team of their slow batting and playing too much dot balls. But I believe it was because of smart thinking Captaincy and field placements from

Sana and our bowlers and fielders were very discipline throughout the game.
When we started our inning, the Weather started to change to cloudy and humate. In early stages, Our opening stand did very well but at later stage our 3 middle order batters Bismah, Sana and Asmavia got out after one and other.

Just when India was looking like they were getting a foothold in the match, We have been given a lifeline from the Heavens in form of heavy rain that interrupted just when India was on top. Due to heavy rain umpires called off the match and we won by 2 runs (D/L).

Due to Pakistan and Indian sports rivalry, the news spread like fire in Pakistan, the entire Pakistan nation, PCB and Government send us winning messages and congratulates team performance.

Pakistan and India have come head to head 5 times in five T20 World-cups where India has won 3 and Pakistan 2 games.

Hope to see some great cricket played on 11th November 2018 and InshAllah Pakistan is capable of making it even 3-3.
