Hijab-wearing cricketer Abtaha Maqsood gathers attention on Social media


KARACHI: Scotland’s Muslim female cricketer Abtaha Maqsood became the talk of social media after she made her debut in the newly introduced franchise cricket league, The Hundred.

The 22-years-old leg-spinner is representing Birmingham Pheonix in the Women’s category of The Hundred. Her pictures from Day 1 of the league went viral on social media gathering immense attention.

It must be noted here that Abtaha has represented Scotland in 18 T20Is taking 23 wickets at an average of 12.82.
