‘I think Arif Hasan should go home now’ Shahbaz Gill

ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan, Dr. Shahbaz Gill suggested Pakistan Olympic Association (POA)’s president Lieutenant-General Syed Arif Hasan resign due to poor performance.

Taking to Twitter, Gill shared a newspaper cutting that reads ‘Kenya disbands Olympic Committee’. “Pakistan is not the only country where the Olympic committee has had problems. Other countries have fired committees on bad performance. I have heard that POA’s president Hasan is thinking to do a press conference. I think he needs to go home instead of doing a presser,” he wrote.

Earlier also, Gill demanded Hasan’s resignation from his post following the zero Olympic medals for Pakistan during his 17-years-long tenure.
