I wanted to hit Mathew Hayden badly during my playing days: Shoaib Akhtar

The fastest bowler of all time, Shoaib Akhtar holds an unwanted record of retired hurting most number of batsmen in the world, which is 19.

Shoaib Akhtar has scared the best in the business with his sheer pace and aggression during his playing days. Be it Brian Lara, Saurav Ganguly or Gary Kirsten, they have all been under the wrath of the vicious pacer.

Recently, the Rawalpindi Express tweeted his record and said that he never liked hitting batsmen except one, he asked his Twitter followers to guess the name.

Later, he revealed that it was Australian opener, Mathew Hayden that he badly wanted to hit during his playing days and he did multiple times.

However, he also added that now they both are best of friends and he found the aggressive opener to be one of the most generous and kindest human beings.

Shoaib Akhtar is the first bowler to break the speed barrier of 100 miles/hour.
